friendly reminder as we move into September that we are in an incredible
position to elect Democrats this fall

D11 field organizer George Garcia (ggarcia@ourarizona.org) is providing
amazing organization for our efforts, and we have an office in an
easy-to-get-to location. The state party has provided tremendous
resources to mail PEVL sign-ups to Democrats throughout the state
currently not receiving mail-in ballots, and that includes voters in
District 11. There are many ways we can help:

Make follow-up phone calls to voters who received PEVL cards. Currently,
we have phone numbers for 1,331 voters in D11 who need to be
contacted. George has the lists and we will be calling Monday -
Friday from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m., Monday - Thursday from 5 - 9 p.m., and
Saturday and Sunday from 1 - 4 p.m. at our D11 office at 3241 E.

Ask PCs in your area or friends and family to help. This
is a BIG job, but manageable if we all do our part. Make phone
calls or forward this email to recruit more volunteers. The PEVL
project is designed to roll out three separate mailings in three
separate waves over eight weeks. We are just now completing the
calls needed for Week #2.

Make a donation to the county party or directly to D11 to help with
office expenses. If
you know folks who would like to help but who are unable to
volunteer time, ask them for money! I would like to think that our
district could cover the rent and utilities without help from the
county. The MCDP has many, many obligations but will need to pay
our bills if we don't.

Help with data entry or other office tasks. PEVL
cards ARE being returned and we need help just opening the mail!
And
finally, thank you, thank you to all of you who are helping. Our
Democratic candidates appreciate anything and everything we do -- just
as we appreciate their willingness to run for office in the heat of
summer in Arizona.
